Full Description

Chest tomb. Early C18. Conglomerate. Flat topped, moulded cornice, inscribed in good lettering on South side only, lettering eroded and tomb partially sunk but the date 172- is distinguishable. [1] English Heritage Listed Building Number: 264776. First Listed on 21/12/1984. [2] Stone, Ashlar walls. [3] The tomb was visited in June 2013 as part of the rapid condition survey of Exmoor's Listed Buildings 2012-13. It received a BAR score of 4A. [4]
