Summary
A rectangular depression, 4 metres by 2 metres, is possibly an 'amorphous quarry pit' but appears too straight sided and recent and therefore may be a World War Two slit trench.

Full Description
To the west of Great Rowbarrow is a rectangular depression in the ground about 4 metres by 2 metres. It is possibly one of the "amophous quarry pits" mentioned in MSO9184 but appears too straight sided and recent. It may therefore be a World War Two slit trench. [1]
