Full Description
Two areas of disturbed ground to the east of the Kit Barrows may be evidence of quarrying, perhaps for the material used in the construction of the cairns themselves. The possible quarrying is visible on as two areas of pitting, between 70 and 120 metres across, centred approximately at SS 9007 4192 and SS 9013 4210. [1-3]
