Full Description

A post-medieval quarry is visible as an earthwork on aerial photography. The quarry is located on Bratton Ball and centred at SS 9446 4725. The quarry is defined by a small scoop that measures 13 metres by 8 metres. [1-3] The quarry does not appear to show on the 1st or 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey mapping. [4,5]
