Summary
The original location of the parish pound is shown on historic mapping. It was apparently replaced by a structure c.45 metres to the northwest in 1844.

Full Description
A small enclosure is shown on the Tithe Map for Porlock at SS88314684, on the edge of the settlement. It is labelled 547, which the Apportionment states is the parish pound. [1] The structure is no longer visible on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. A pound is labelled to the northwest (MSO11527). [2] Corner states the present pound dates from 1844 and previously, it was on the left of the old entrance to Court Place. [3]
