Full Description

SS 70691 39068. An area of subrectangular hollows noted during field survey in 2017 were thought to represent the remains of disused turbaries. A typical cutting was 6 metres north to south, 2.8 metres east to west and 0.3 metres deep. The drainage channels recorded as MEM25070 post date the turbaries. [1]
