Full Description

The Tithe Map for Selworthy depicts a square building at SS 9236 4533. It is labelled 594, which the Apportionment describes as a cottage, owned by Sir Charles Dyke Acland, Bart, and occupied by Betty Lake. [1] The building had been removed by the time the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map was created, presumably to make way for Blackford Cottage (MEM24924). [2]
