Full Description

The 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map depicts a pond at SS 9979 4281. It is shown within an earthwork feature that is surmounted by a line of trees; it is possible this is an old quarry. [1] The feature is again shown similarly on the 2nd Edition map. [2] The pond and earthwork are not shown on 2018 MasterMap data. The area in which they were situated has been incorporated into Geoffrey's Oaks. [3]
