Full Description
A roughly circular pit centred at SS 77980 34331 measuring 2m in diameter and 0.4m deep, with crescent-shaped spoil heap to 0.3m high to the northwest. The site may be a mineral / stone prospecting pit, although the spoil heap is not on the downslope side as is usual with hand-dug pits; it may be of recent origin. [1]
