Full Description
A quarry is shown on the 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps at SS 9144 3019. It is labelled as an "Old Quarry", suggesting it had passed out of use by this time. [1,2] The quarry is not specifically depicted on modern MasterMap data but the area in which it was located is shown as wooded. The quarry, is, however shown on the Ordnance Survey 10 k Raster Map. [3,4]
