Full Description
SS 81841 33056. A subrectangular hollow with a spoil mound to the west lies inside a rectangular enclosure (MEM24177) in the southwestern corner of Halscombe Allotment. The hollow is 3.8 metres long, 2.3 metres wide and 1 metre deep. The mound is 5 metres long, 3.4 metres wide, 0.9 metres high. This may represent a prospecting pit for stone or minerals. [1]
