Full Description

SS 7597 3695, SS 7598 3680. Poorly defined linear earthwork up to c.10 metres wide trending roughly north to south. It may be a natural feature but its orientation, cross cutting the orientation of the local geology makes this less likely. Alternatively it may be the remains of a hollow way. If so, it runs into an area of rough, boggy ground at its southern end which may suggest an early date. [1] No features are depicted here on the 1st or 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps. [2,3]
