Summary

An earthwork depression was noted during field survey in 2011. This may be the remains of small-scale quarrying, for hedge bank construction, the past location of a livestock trough and its accompanying erosion or it may be a natural feature.

Full Description

SS 7510 3733. Earthwork depression against hedge bank measuring c.8 metres by 4 metres. May be the remains of small scale quarrying, for hedge bank construction, the past location of a livestock trough and its accompanying erosion or it may be a natural feature. [1] No features are depicted here on the 1st or 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps. [2,3]
