Full Description
The site is shown as a clear area of an open field on the Challacombe Tithe Map. [1] An earthwork feature is depicted on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map at SS 6918 4201. It is an irregular shape and is not labelled. [2] The feature is again shown on the 2nd Edition map and not labelled. [3] There is no feature depicted at this location on modern MasterMap data. [4]
