Full Description
The flood destroyed the forge at Barbrook but the cottage survived. [1] The Tithe Map for Lynton shows a building sited to the southeast of a footbridge over the river, at c. SS 7156 4769. [2] The building still appears to be shown on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey maps. [3] The building is no longer extant. [4]
