Full Description

Nothing shown on Oare Tithe Map in this postion. [1] Deddycombe Cottage is depicted and labelled as a ruin at SS 8113 4779 within a small enclosure on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. [2] The building is depicted but not labelled on the 2nd Edition map. [3] Deddycombe Cottage was locally known as Rook's Cottage as Mr Rook (the butler at Glenthorne) had lived there at one time. [4] The outline of the building is preserved in modern MasterMap data. [5]
