It has been suggested that a standing stone, labelled a "longstone", may have existed between the Edgerly Stone and Mole's Chamber as it is mentioned in a perambulation on 1815. The perambulation details "...Mole's Chamber - Long Stone - Edgerly Stone - Wood Barrow - Saddle Gate..." This stone, if it existed, has likely since been lost. [1]
