Full Description
A large building set around a courtyard is depicted within Plot 3 on the Countisbury Tithe Map. The building is labelled as 'Red Court' within the accompanying Tithe Apportionment. It is also depicted on the Lynton and Lynmouth Parish Tithe Map and accompanying Town Map. [1-3] A building is depicted within this location on both the First and Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey maps where it is labelled as 'Drill Hall' (see MEM22801). It is not clear whether this is the same building that is shown on the Tithe Map. [4,5] The building is not present on the Ordnance Survey MasterMap. [6]
