Full Description
The Historic Environment Officer for the Exmoor Mires Project undertook a non-intrustive walkover survey of the proposed mire restoration area on Lanacombe, which included this site. Noted was a small area of distinct vegetation change with minor surface stone measuring 1.5 metres by 1 metre in diameter and 0.1 metre in height. The feature could be a spread clearance cairn and part of the MSO7102 field system, but is also a possible natural feature. [1]
