A post-medieval former quarry was visible on the 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps. The earthworks were still visible on the 3rd Edition map and on the 2014 MasterMap.

A post-medieval quarry was visible on the 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps; this was annotated as 'old quarry' indicating it was disused by the time of the first survey. The earthworks were still visible on the 3rd Edition map and on the 2014 MasterMap. [1-4]
