Summary
Two likely post-medieval quarries were visible on 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps. These had fallen out of use by 1907. Due to proximity, these features may be associated with the Girt Down mine (MDE8274).

Full Description
Two likely post-medieval quarries were visible on 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps. These were annotated as 'old quarries' on the 2nd Edition map, indicating they had fallen out of use by 1907. Due to their proximity, these features may have been associated with the 19th Century Girt Down mine (MDE8274). [1, 2]
