The Oaks Hotel occupies a commanding position and is set within large gardens.The present hotel looks to be of a predominantly 1920s Arts and Crafts style. [1] The 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey map shows the plot to be clear, showing the building post-dates these maps. [2,3]
