Full Description
A large scale metric survey of an area of earthworks on Wintershead was undertaken by Hazel Riley in 2012 as part of the Exmoor Mires Project. A linear hollow was surveyed, which is located on the west side of the spring head, close to the gate; this feature measures 15 metres east-west, 2 metres north-south and 0.8 metres deep. It is a recent drainage ditch. [1]
