Full Description

Orchard House on the corner adjoining Sinai Hill closes the view to the south along Queen Street and is stone-built with casement windows and moulded brick drip-stones. There is a former 19th Century shopfront with projecting cornice above the fascia and moulded console brackets. The second floor gable has ornamental bargeboards and finial. [1] It is not clear whether this is the building shown in this position on the Lynton Tithe Map but it is certainly shown on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. [2,3]
