Full Description
In 1886 the Three Horse Shoes Inn was closed and sold for £600 and a new hotel known as the Lorna Doone Hotel was built on the site. It was mentioned in the 1822 Register of Inns and the 1902 directory. It was knocked down soon afterwards. A photograph in D Corner's book shows the building was thatched. [1] The building was photographed in c.1880. [2]
