Full Description
Ascending the hill alongside the Ship Inn, to where the lanes converge, on the right is a row of cottages thatched at each end. They are stone built, some whitewashed or rendered and picturesquely set above the carriageway and approached by steps. The series of front lateral stacks suggest a date, possibly as early as the late 17th Century. Most retain timber casement windows and plank doors. [1]
