The 2002 Conservation Area Character Appraisal for Dunster states "at the corner of St. Thomas Street and Dunster Steep, and prominent in the street scene, is an early 20th century building, an eclectic mix of stone, brick dressings, and render with a tiled roof, timber decoration to the gables, and ornate brick stacks." [1] The building is labelled "Grooms Cottage" on 2018 MasterMap data. [2]
