Full Description
A chapel of ease was built at Marsh Bridge by John Arthur Locke. It was destroyed by fire in about 1900. It was described as a plain building consisting of chancel, nave and turret with one bell and four stained glass windows. [1] A chapel of ease was erected in the mid 19th century, on the north bank beside Marsh Bridge, by John Locke of Northmoor. It burnt down in 1909. [2] The chapel of ease at Marsh Bridge was called Northmoor Chapel. [3] The chapel is shown on both the 1st and 2nd edition Ordnance Survey maps and is labelled 'Northmoor Chapel'.
