Numerous culverts and drainage channels were recorded during the watching brief on Dulverton High Street. They all probably date from the 19th Century, though they could be older or rebuilds of older features.

Numerous culverts and drainage channels were recorded during the watching brief on Dulverton High Street. They all probably date from the 19th Century, though they could be older or rebuilds of older features. A large culvert still functions to drain water, probably from the Marsh area to the north of Vicarage Hill, to the Barle River. [1]
