Full Description
A minor footpath or trackway through Stoke Wood, the smaller and probably earlier of 2 paths recorded in this area. The trackway crosses the larger trackway known as the Priest's Path and continues downslope towards the combe bottom. Sections of retaining wall can be seen on the down-slope side of the trackway. The track probably originates in Prickslade Combe and may relate to the development and abandonment of a settlement there. [2] The grid reference supplied for this feature may be incorrect. [3]
