Summary
An earthwork platform in on the north facing slopes of Culbone Wood is probably the remains of a charcoal burning platform. The date of the earthwork is uncertain.

Full Description
A charcoal burning platform in Culbone Wood, approximately 620 metres to the north-north-east of Broomstreet Farm. The linear shaped platform is circa 7 metres long and 2.5 metres wide. The rear of the platform has slumped over the surface of the platfrom and the front, downslope edge is still upstanding to a height of circa 0.6 metres. Large pieces of charcoal are exposed in the platform surface. [1]
