Summary
An earthwork platform in on the north-north-east facing slopes of Culbone Wood is probably the remains of a charcoal burning platform. The date of the earthwork is uncertain.

Full Description
A possible charcoal burning platform in Culbone Wood, approximately 580 metres to the north-north-east of Broomstreet Farm. The platform is circa 12 metres long east to west and 5 metres wide north to south. The rear of the platform has slumped and the front, downslope side built up by about 1 metre. The surface is in poor condition with a fallen tree obscuring much of the earthwork. [1]
