An earthwork platform in on the east facing slopes of Twitchen Combe is probably the remains of a charcoal burning platform. The date of the earthwork is uncertain.

Full Description
A charcoal burning platform on the east facing slopes of Twitchen Combe. The platform measures approximately 7 metres long and 3.5 metres wide with the rear edge of the platform cut into the hillslope to a depth of circa 1.5 metres. The feature is in generally good condition but the rear edge of the platform is eroded and the front edge has slumped. [1]
