Full Description
A possible charcoal burning platform in Embelle Wood, approximately 800 metres to the north-north-west of Broomstreet Farm. The platform is oval in shape and measures circa 9 metres long east to west and 4 metres wide north to south. The rear of the platform is very eroded as is the front, which still survives to a height of approximately 1 metre. Holly and mature oaks are growing on the earthwork. [1]
