Full Description
A possible charcoal burning platform in Culbone Wood, approximately 450 metres to the north-north-west of Silcombe Farm. The platform is circa 12 metres long east to west and 4 metres wide north to south. The rear of the platform is curved and formed by the hillslope and the front, downslope side is straighter but eroding. The surface is being disturbed by deer and mature oaks growing on the earthwork. [1]
