Full Description
A possible charcoal burning platform on the north facing slopes of Withycombe Wood, approximately 350 metres north-north-west of Parsonage Farm. The platform is visible as an oval earthwork measuring circa 9 metres by 4 metres, cut into the hillside to a depth of around 1 metre and built up on the downslope side to a similar height. [1]
