Full Description

A scooped earthwork feature within Mounsey Wood, probably the remains of a small quarry, located adjacent to an associated trackway. The earthworks were identified during field survey of Mounsey Wood, part of a broader survey of eight woodlands on the eastern slopes of the Barle Valley. [1]
