Full Description
A scoop feature, possibly the earthwork remains of a small quarry, located adjacent to a trackway within Ashwick Wood. The earthwork was identified during field survey of Ashwick Wood, part of a broader survey of eight woodlands on the eastern slopes of the Barle Valley. [1]
