Full Description
One of four large quarries identified as an earthwork on the western slopes of Sherracombe, adjacent to the modern plantation track. Further earthworks identified within the pit could be the remains of a structure. The quarry may also be associated with a trackway and possible boundary bank identified in this area. [1]
