Full Description
A group of shallow hollows ir depressions south of Lower Court Farm were noted on aerial photographs at SS 9992 3672. An "Old Quarry" is noted on Ordnance Survey maps in part of the area (see MSO10082). [1-5] Series of earthworks, in the form of humps and hollows, probably quarrying. [6] The earthworks are also visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and 2013. [7-9]
