Full Description

Mutton Pie Bridge is a stone clapper bridge across the River Haddeo at Hartford. The bridge is centred at SS 9591 2918 and comprises a single stone slab (dimensions not recorded) supported on bridge abutments, which appear to be constructed of stone substantially repaired in concrete. Nearby is a stone lined spring. [1] "Hartford Mill …and, over the stream, there is still an old stone clapper bridge" [2]
