A large stone field clearance cairn between two converging tracks was noted during field investigation.

Full Description
Large stone cairn c. 12 metres long by 8 metres wide situated close to the southeast end of the enclosed fields above Coddow Combe observed during the survey by the National Trust in 2004. The cairn on the northeast side of Butter Hill lies between two converging tracks and is likely to be associated with field clearance. [1]
