Full Description
The insertion of a forestry road and consequent undercutting of the hillside has revealed what appears to be an upper level of Britannia Mine. In 1983 it appeared as a segmental arch sic feet six inches wide set into a stone wall with a space, about two feet deep and four feet long, beneath it. It appeared to have been recently exposed. [1]
