Full Description
SS 8221 3081. A small circular enclosure is showing as a low, ploughed out bank. Possibly a prehistoric feature. Good on aerial photographs dating to 1977 .[1,2] Boundary banks extant with associated ‘lazybeds’. Three main areas of Smallacombe, Anstey and Whitemoor. [3] SS 8220 3083. A circular feature was noted on aerial photographs, but no trace was detected during field investigation in 1995. [4] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [5]
