Full Description
A smithy is depicted and labelled on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map at SS 6880 4128. [1] The site is shown as the meeting place for several routes on the Tithe Map for Challacombe, with no buildings shown here. [2] The building is labelled on the six inch 2nd Edition map and the six inch 1963 map. [3,4] The 2018 MasterMap data depicts the building, which is now labelled "The Old Smithy". [5]
