Full Description
A stone setting was seen in Lank Combe. [1] The site was visited on 10th April 1997. A configuration of about 20 stones in an oval shape some 15 metres across was found on the steep south facing slopes of Lank Combe at about SS 7882 4547. All of the stones have been erected in the very recent past and are propped up with trigger stones or have been set into the ground, most are loose. It is quite clear that this site is a totally modern creation. [2] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [3]
