Description
Two samples were taken from the south range of the Old Priory in June 2016 for dendrochronological dating. The work was commissioned by Tim Taylor as part of the Dig Dunster Time Team project. No bark was noted on the samples and it was suggested that construction of the south range may have occurred between AD 1439 and AD 1471.
