Description
Two cores and two sections were taken from fragments of oak cruck framing at 22, West Street in June 2016 for dendrochronological dating. The work was commissioned by Tim Taylor as part of the Dig Dunster Time Team project. It was suggested that the building was constructed in AD 1377 or soon after.
