Site Event/Activity record EEM14523 - 2014: TS - Part of West and East Pinford, Mires Project

The principal aim of this work was to carry out a walkover and metric survey to identify, accurately locate, record and interpret extant archaeological features in the survey area. These sites date to the prehistoric, medieval and post-medieval periods. The survey located a previously unrecorded standing stone, field boundary and hut circle settlement. All the features were surveyed at a scale of 1:2500 using survey grade differential GPS.
