TRENTISHOE SS 64 NW 2/138 Boundary stone, south-west of - Trentishoe Down at SS 625 473 GV II
Boundary stone. Post-medieval. Slate. Large upright stone 1.13 metres high, 0.69 metres wide and 0.13 metres thick. Inscribed on east face with the letter TM, probably standing for Trentishoe Manor. The stone marks the boundary between the parishes and manors of Combe Martin and Trentishoe. Source: Exmoor National Park Field Survey. The stone is one of the better-preserved in a group of similar boundary markers sited along the parish boundary.
